Versatile Sound Profiles
The AMPED 1 features three distinct voices: ‘USA’, ‘UK’, and ‘Flat’. ‘USA’ is inspired by the sparkling cleans and solid low end of classic American amps of the ’60s. ‘UK’ recreates the classic medium gain crunch tones of a beloved British Class A amp from the early ’60s. ‘Flat’ provides a neutral preamp with a semi-parametric EQ, making it an ideal match for external preamps and amp modellers.
Authentic Power Valve Responses
Five different power valve responses – KT88, 6L6, EL34, 6V6, EL84 – recreate the response, dynamics, sag, and break-up characteristics of the selected valve power amp. There’s also a ‘Linear’ setting that offers transparent power amplification when pairing the AMPED 1 with an external amp modeller.
Highly Customizable
The power reduction feature allows you to select 100 Watts, 20 Watts, or 1 Watt, enabling you to find the perfect balance of power and response for any situation. Whether you’re in the studio or on stage, AMPED 1 has got you covered.
Advanced Features
The AMPED 1 includes CabRig, a next-generation DSP speaker simulator that reproduces the sound and feel of a mic’d up guitar cab in incredible detail. This can be deep-dived using the free Architect software, allowing you to capture amazing tones via USB / XLR out. It also has a studio-quality reverb with a ‘freeze’ effect and is footswitchable.
Connectivity
Professional connectivity and integration into your setup are easy thanks to low latency USB audio, which can be used as an interface for recording, and XLR D.I. for live use. The amp also includes an effects loop (series or parallel), 2x 9V DC outputs, and MIDI control for easy integration into your pedalboard or rig.
